Frequently asked questions

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO VISIT SIX-FOURS?

Set aside a day to go to the Pointe du Gaou, have lunch there and come back in the afternoon for a swim at Villa Hippocampe.

A 200 m walk away, the terraces of the remarkable La Petite Plage restaurant overlook the sea and the sunset, while the Mafana Zen café serves tapas and cocktails.

The sea never drops below 12°C and, if you feel like it, the Christmas swim is always quite a show. More reasonably, the swimming season runs from April to October, depending on the year.

We have a soft spot for the late season. The water is still warm, there is very little wind, and most tourists have gone home.
