L'île de Barbuda

The island of Barbuda

Barbuda is a Caribbean island belonging to the nation of Antigua and Barbuda. Flat and covered in forest, it is home to pink-sand beaches considered among the most beautiful in the world. The island has fewer than 2,000 inhabitants and has kept its wild character.

Its bird reserve, the Frigate Bird Sanctuary, hosts one of the largest colonies of frigatebirds in the world. The island has been spared from mass tourism, accessible only to those who take the time to get there. It is this spirit — the unspoilt island, unhurried time, untouched nature — that this suite seeks to evoke.

Frequently asked questions

IS THE BARBUDA SUITE SUITABLE FOR 2 ADULTS + 2 CHILDREN?

Yes, that set-up is possible. The queen-size bed (160 cm) sleeps 2 adults and the sofa bed in the lounge can sleep 2 children. This flexibility lets you adapt the space to your needs — a couple on their own or a small family.

Absolutely. The suite has fibre Wi-Fi (high symmetrical speed, tested regularly). The work corner has a comfortable desktop and an ergonomic chair, and the view over the park offers a welcome visual break between two Zoom meetings. Many guests come to work from the suite for stays of 2 to 4 weeks.

Yes. The suite is on the ground floor with a private terrace from which you can glimpse the sea. The view is not panoramic as it is upstairs, but the presence of the Mediterranean can be felt from the terrace, through the plants of the park.

Yes. A path leads from the property’s park down to two small beaches below. Allow 3 minutes on foot at most. The beaches can only be reached from the neighbouring properties, so they are very quiet even in high season.

We favour stays of at least 3 nights, and strongly encourage stays of a week or more. The Barbuda Suite is designed for really settling in — its lounge area with sofa bed, its desk and its private terrace come into their own when you stay several days.
